Unique ONE SIZE deluxe anti neckache arm sling. Arm height adjustable. Easy reversible right or left one size fit, adjusts to fit a large arm, reduces for a smaller arm thanks to the soft hook receptive fabric providing multiple adhesion points. An easy-to-fit sleeve fits to the opposite arm with strap that loops through the sling neck strap drawing weight and pressure away from the neck.
DESCRIPTION
Offers full shoulder support thanks to an extra deep arm pocket, an especially important feature when supporting a broken collarbone. The soft breathable fabric feels light and cooling. A broad spongy foam neck strap is comfortable on the neck. A functional fleecy thumb loop supports the hand in the best position for arm and shoulder alignment - also stops the sling sliding backwards. Machine washable 30 or 40° / quick dry.
IMPORTANT: Measure from the elbow to the middle of the little finger (pinky).
NOTE: Sling cuff can be folded back to reduce the size from a full size adult arm to fit a small arm. See size guide image for precise measurements.

An anti-neckache armband prevents neck pain when wearing a sling for more than four days.
CLINICAL STUDY
Our NHS Ethics approved hospital study found that wearing a conventional sling caused neck pain after only four days. This is due to the weight of the arm placing pressure on the side of the neck where the Brachial Plexus nerves run as they track their way from the head down into the arms. Neck muscles are also vulnerable to weight pressure especially, if the arm is held in a plaster-cast.
